The YMCA Black Country Group is a charitable organisation dedicated to fostering the well-being and development of individuals across our region, and its borders. As a global entity, the YMCA is the largest, and oldest, youth charity in the world, and the YMCA has served the people of the Black Country since 1888. They offer a broad range of services and programs aimed at fostering the personal and professional development of vulnerable young people, including young parents and families, promoting healthy living and social responsibility. They also provide opportunities to empower our young people who are facing difficult times, promoting their physical and mental well-being, and supporting their efforts to build a better life, and building a better Black Country for the future generations to inherit.

The YMCA Black Country Group provide services such as Supported Housing, Y-Living, and Move-On accommodation, providing essential support, stability, and empowerment to young people in education or training, or those who have left the family home and need assistance in transitioning to independent living. From teaching essential life skills, nurturing confidence and empowerment, to providing a trustworthy landlord, these schemes help people across the region every day. Their Gateway to Achievement provides similar services for those entering the job market, developing their skills and confidence, while assigned mentors work one-on-one to provide them with tailored support.
